So, I finally found my Wedding Day Shoes.
But I keep looking at photos and they have beautiful coloured shoes..

So my shoes are super cute, but I found out they are dyable.

Does any one know where I can take them to be dyed?
Or how I do it myself???

Kristy you could by dye from Spotlight and do it yourself.

I would recommend going to an op shop and buying a pair of shoes and dying them first to see what the result would be before doing your wedding day shoes!!!

I'll ask Pia from the Purple Paper House what to do, Pia is good with that kind of DIY. I will get back to you.

Ok, so I spoke to Pia this morning and Pia has advised:

Go to a shoe repair shop and get the fabric dye, preferable cold water set fabric dye. Pia advises you should test the dye on a similar piece of fabric to see how it takes to the fabric. When dying there will be inconsistencies when dying.

If the shoes are vinyl or leather uppers you can by paint at the shoe shop and paint over which will give you a better overall look.

The key is do a test first before painting on your own shoes. If you need more advise Pia is more than happy to discuss this with you please call 9751 3940.
