Red earth, green rolling hills, fruit covered vines, sandy white long beaches and so much more is offered for choice in WA. Here we are building a collection of places in regional WA where you can have a wedding ceremony or wedding photos, whether it be a community park, on a beach, historical building and more.

Busselton

Busselton is a coastal town located in the South West of WA with long clean white sandy beaches. Busselton’s most prominent feature is the longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere stretching almost 2km out into pristine waters of Geographe Bay. Busselton is a wonderful destination for a wedding with a variety of historic buildings, quaint churches, picturesque gardens and parks, long sandy white beaches, wineries, canal lifestyle, farm lands and national forests.

Bunbury

Bunbury is the entertainment and cultural capital of the south west, this vibrant and cosmopolitan regional city is a mix of today and the yesteryear. With an absolute plethora of historical buildings, maintained parks, ocean views and more Bunbury makes for a great destination for your wedding. If you want water as a backdrop for wedding photographs Bunbury is a top choice as it is surrounded by ocean, bays and inlets which are not a long travel from any wedding ceremony or venue destination.

Harvey

The Shire of Harvey is located in South West WA with lush rolling green hills, clean landscape and is home to some of the most picturesque places for a wedding or honeymoon accommodation including the Stirling Cottage Gardens and the Harvey Dam & Amphitheatre.

Albany

On the South Coast of Western Australia, The Great Southern has some of the most stunning scenic locations for a wedding. Many couples choose to have their Wedding Ceremony outside of the City of Albany on public space or Reserve land.

Dunsborough and Yallingup

Located approx 250km south of Perth (approx three hour drive) Dunsborough is a vibrant town boosting some of the most beautiful coastal land in Australia, with crystal clear water from Geographe Bay; it is an ideal location for weddings offering white sandy beaches, rocky coastline, national parks, wineries and surfing beaches. The majority of the wineries are in this region. Dunsborough is a 'something special' wedding location either overlooking Geographe Bay or the picturesque country side filled with vineyards.

Margaret River

Margaret River is an ideal location for your wedding!
The area has an abundance of stunning locations from wineries to vineyard settings, secret gardens, spectacular beaches and bays, towering Karri forests and unique settings like crystalline limestone caves to create the perfect backdrop for your romantic day.
Margaret River is a region for all seasons, farms and paddocks, small creeks and ponds, sweeping valleys covered in karri and jarrah trees, thick native bush land, rocky coasts and pristine beaches characterise this area.

Denmark

Denmark is becoming a popular location for Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies. The natural beauty of the coastline and the forest captivates all who visit. Denmark was established on the Denmark River in 1895 as a timber mill town.

Nannup

Situated on the banks of the Blackwood River, in the South West Nannup is a historic mill town surrounded by forests located around 280 km south of Perth. Nannup has kept that old country town image, even in today's world it is untouched by the developments that are dominating the coastal towns. Buildings have been preserved with their heritage features in tact (which are great for those wedding photos).
