Why did you get married in Dunsborough? We love the location and we felt it was more like a holiday getting married down there rather than in Perth.
Why did you choose a beach wedding? It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony.
When did you start looking for your wedding dress? My fittings started with Fara around March 2010 and the last fitting was a couple of weeks before the wedding. She also made the hair flower to match my dress.
What flowers did you carry? White Phalaenopsis Orchids.
How did you decorate your wedding ceremony? We had white Bali flags down each side of the boardwalk from the resort to the beach, signing table with an orchid flower arrangement, some chairs and two cream market umbrellas.
What was the style of your wedding reception? Pre-dinner drinks on the restaurant terrace, cocktail style. The reception was a sit down meal.
Describe the look and flavour of your cake, plus any other desserts that were served. We had a cupcake tower- Chocolate mudcake with a creamy icing with some silver decorating.
What were the bonbonnieres for your guests? We gave our guests liquor bottles, that matched our wedding invitations which were also in bottles.
Your wedding photographer was Brooke from Sugarsnap Photography, now that you look at your wedding photos are you happy with these? Brooke did a wonderful job, it was a pleasure having her part of the wedding and she captured lots of great memories.
How do you feel now that your wedding is over? We have mixed emotions- sad it is all over and also a little relieved it has all happened and went well.
Were did you honeymoon? We spent 5 days at the Quay West Bunker Bay resort and then Bali for 5 days staying in Seminyak. |
