Purple and Pink.

The hardest part to plan was the reception. We wanted to make sure everyone could order something they liked.

$40 000. We ended up just under budget.

The food.

80 guests.

I was actually looking at mermaid style dresses but saw this one on a model, tried it on and fell in love.

How many stores did you go to and how many dresses did you try on to find this one?
I went to 4 different stores. I tried on at least 10 different dresses until I found the one.

No, but I looked good. It was a struggle to eat in the dress.

What have you done with the dress now after your wedding?
Its still sitting in a wardrobe.

You made your own wedding shoes -what did you do? They look pretty..
I glued about 3000 Swarovski crystals onto the shoes. It took several night's with a pair of tweezers and a lot of patience.

What was Daniels attire and who went with him to choose this?
I went with him and his groomsmen. I narrowed down the choices to 2 or 3 things and they chose from those options.

What flowers did you carry?
My flowers were a posy of pink hydrangeas and white roses.

Where you nervous at anytime during your wedding day?
I was nervous leading up to the ceremony.

The bridesmaids came over at 8.30am in the morning for hair and makeup and the boys met up at around 9.30am to set up the chairs at Cyprus.

Our ceremony was held at 2.00pm.

We had a harp playing at our ceremony and she continued until everyone left.

We took snippets from traditional vows, changed, added and took out parts until we were happy.

Where did you go for wedding photos?
We had photos at Cyprus, then headed to Prevelly Beach then to Boyanup Forrest and then lastly to the vineyards at Watershed.

Why did you choose Watershed as your wedding venue?
Watershed had amazing glass windows that showed off the beautiful vineyards.

How did you decorate your wedding venue?
We kept the decorations simple by having tealight candles and my bridesmaids and I made 3d hearts to scatter on the tables.

The speeches were a real highlight, they kept everybody laughing. Our friends also sang an acoustic version of a song for us.

3 course sit down meal.

The first kiss after we were announced as man and wife.

We cut our cake just before our speeches.

We had a 3 tiered square cake made out of white chocolate and chocolate mud smothered with butter cream. It was decorated simply with purple ribbon and a silver "D&D".

We danced to Craig David's Unbelievable.

We made our flowers, table decorations, wishing well and my shoes.

We had little dishes of 5 purple sugared almonds and a white rose candle for the grown ups. Children had little kiddy bags with a bag of jelly beans, a stuffed toy, bubbles, coloured pencils and a pad of paper for drawing on.

We feel relieved that that huge step is over and that we get to move on with even bigger things together as a family.

We haven't gone on one yet.

Advice for other planning brides.
It is just one day so try and enjoy it. I managed to keep relaxed the week leading up to the wedding by being very organised leading up to the wedding.

When you look back what would you have done differently on your wedding day?
Everything went well. When I look back, it didn't really matter that everything didn't go perfectly.

Any compliments for your wedding suppliers?
Our videographer Mark did an amazing job with producing amazing memories for us. I was really happy with most of the supplier's we chose.
