Kate and Lindsay - Interview with the Bride

Kate and Lindsay said their vows surrounded by their close family and friends on their property in Northampton WA. We exchanged rings on the very spot that Lindsay had popped the question only eight months earlier. ‘Lindsay asked me to come out to our favourite spot on the farm … to have a wine and relax after a busy day… dressed in our farm clothes in the farm jeep and our dog we headed out to the gorge and he asked me to marry him. Completely surprised I said “ha ha yer sure”, he then pulled out a beautiful princess cut diamond ring! It was a definite yes!

Why did you choose September as the month to get married?
The best time on the farm, looks beautiful.

I did these myself.

Modern Wedding magazine and websites.

The hardest part to plan for your wedding?
Making sure all the girls dresses fitted correctly, 4 bridesmaids makes it hard to have them all there at the same time.

Why did you choose the Queen Elizabeth Centre as your wedding venue?
Large new wooden floor area and a blank canvas to work with.

The Wedding Cake
The beautiful cake was a mix of Fruit cake on top, white mud and then choc mud on the bottom.
