How long were you engaged for?

18 months.

Why did you get married?
We found our perfect match!

What was the theme and colour scheme for your wedding?
Coral, Silver and Cream.

Did you have a budget and did you stick to it?
We had a budget, but we definitely blew that out of the water early on! Every little thing ads up so quickly.

What was the one thing you weren’t going to comprise on for your wedding?
My wedding dress.

How many guests did you have at your wedding?
86.

How did you know this was the dress?
I knew the style of dress I wanted even before I met Rob.

When did you start looking for your wedding dress?
About 1 year before.

Who went with you to buy your wedding dress?
My sister and niece.

How did it feel wearing your dress for the whole day?
Perfect, I couldn't have been happier with it.

What have you done with your wedding dress now?
I finally got around to having it dry cleaned and boxed a couple of week's actually. The dry cleaner said he could tell I had a ball in it, it was filthy.

Where did you get the look and flowers for your bouquets?
I showed my florist (Stemtation) pictures of our dresses and colours. She matched it all in and did an amazing job.

How did you decorate your wedding ceremony and where did you hold the ceremony?
The winery surrounds are so beautiful we kept the decorations simple.
Our ceremony was on an island surrounded by water and gardens. We had topiary plants lining the aisle.

Tell me about the running of the day what time did you start preparing etc?
Amazingly enough timing wasn't an issue when we were getting ready, we seemed to have plenty of time to take it all in.
It was probably due to the fact that we were so excited and up early talking at 4.30am. We also had a stunning view of Smiths Beach from our Apartment which was very calming and relaxing.

Did you say traditional vows to one another or did you write your own?
We said the traditional vows.

What time was your ceremony?
At 3.00pm.

How much time did you give between your ceremony and reception for wedding photos?
Two and a half hours.

Where did you go for wedding photos?
Around the grounds of The Duckstein & Injidup Beach around Yallingup.

Now looking at your wedding photos, are you both happy with the way John captured your wedding day?
Definitely, the photos were all stunning and we have so many to choose from.

Why did you choose Duckstein as your wedding venue?
We went there for lunch on a weekend getaway and fell in love with the place.

How did you decorate your wedding venue?
My mum and sisters decorated the tables with rose petals and lanterns while we were having photos.

What happened at your reception?
Our DJ set the tone for a great night playing a combination of live & DJ music.
The speeches were all lovely and I was sitting back enjoying them, until my brother who was the MC sprung it on me to get up and do a speech. I had absolutely nothing planned and it took a couple of seconds before any words came to mind! I definitely owe him some payback for that one.

What time did your reception finish?
Midnight.

Best moment of your wedding day?
Once we were announced husband and wife, we couldn't wipe the smile off our faces.

Describe the look and flavor of your cake?
Two tier Chocolate Torte Cake with gorgeous figurines of Rob and I and our dog Chopper.

Did you make anything for your wedding?
Our wishing well pot.

What were the bombonnieres for your guests?
Handmade soaps in a box. They were in the shape of an X&O with the wording 'Hugs and Kisses from the Mr & Mrs.

Where did you spend your wedding night?
Smiths Beach Resort, Yallingup.

How are you feeling now that your wedding is over?
Very content, we couldn't of asked for a more perfect day and are enjoying life as husband and wife.

Were did you honeymoon?
We honeymooned in Singapore for 3 nights & over 2 and a half weeks travelling around Vietnam.

When you look back what would you have done differently on your wedding day?
Nothing.
