It took us 10 months to plan our wedding day and we invited 96 guests.

We decided to have our ceremony and reception at one venue as we didn't want our guests to have to travel to a different location after the ceremony or have hours to fill while we had our formal photos. The OBF with its beautiful setting was perfect for us

Our ceremony was at 3:30pm and only ran for about 30 minutes. While we had our photos taken, our guests were entertained with music and games, with canapés also being served. At 5:30pm we all gathered together on the deck for a sit down meal and dessert.

The setting and theme for our wedding was 'Romantic Garden' with tones of ivory, blue, copper & dusty pink. We held our ceremony under a large old tree with extra large feathered dream catchers, and a beautiful string quartet playing.

We paid for the groomsmen's outfits except their shirts, and we paid for the bridemaid's hair and make up. I also ordered matching silk cami & gown sets for them.

The flowers in my bouquet were peonies surrounded by dusty miller because peonies have that softness that I couldn't go past the dusty miller plant. They are just a perfect foil for pink peonies with their grey/silver lacy fooliage. I just loved the look of the two together.

Our friends and family helped make our day come true with help with the styling, flowers, set up, relish making and so much more. We didn’t invite children to our wedding except for our 3, and they had lawn games, torches for hide & seek and a soft cushion and rug corner if they got sick of dancing.

Our reception was just a couple of quick speeches, a few 'Thank You's', fabulous food, lots of photos, dancing, a game or two, and more fabulous food.hayleejobewedding 8
