Date: 11th November 2016
Wedding Photographer: The Photography Boutique
Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Yallingup Brook Estate, Yallingup

Interview with the Bride

We gave ourselves 15 months to plan and organize our wedding, and we budgeted 20k. We had 100 guests and there were no children.

I had white and pale pink roses in my bouquet and the same on the tables and the bridesmaids' bouquets.

We chose these as they are simple and elegant and suited the way we wanted the venue to be styled. We chose a simple rustic look with splashes of blue and white.

We gifted our bridesmaids a Kimono wrap each and their earrings.

The groomsmen received a hip flask each and a cufflink set.

I adored my dress - it made me feel like a princess. I started looking for it in January/February.

Braden wore a Bell and Barnett (Maurice) slim fit suit with Julius Marlow shoes.

We chose Yallingup Brook Estate as it was a mix between the beach and the forest. Our ceremony was perfect - it was us to a tee. It helped that the celebrant knew us on a personal level.

Everything we discussed with her, was mixed in to add humour to the ceremony.

While we had our formal photos taken, our guests enjoyed lawn games, had drinks and nibbles.

Because of the beautiful location and it was close for family to attend. The gardens look amazing when it gets dark and is lit up. The owners do an amazing job.

We decorated the space with simple, small touches that meant something to us.

Most of the decorations were hand made by family members, so that made it more special.

We had speeches from the fathers of the bride and groom, the best man gave a great speech about the early antics of the groom and then the proposal story was told in an entertaining  fashion.

There was a father of the groom and groom dance off to “Footloose” and a father/bride dance to “Because You Loved Me” by Céline Dion and the bride and groom first dance to “One Call Away” by Charlie Puth.

Make sure you enjoy the day, even though there are stresses and heaps of planning make sure you make the most of the days before. Once the day comes it happens so fast and before you know it it's happened.

The best day of your life is celebrated with friends and family.

We went to Seminyak in Bali for 9 days for our Honeymoon.

We used lots of ideas and resources from the Coast To Country website and Facebook page. We also booked our transport at the Coast to Country Southwest Wedding Fair at Abbey Beach Resort.
