Here at CTCW, we feel like we have known and liked so many people in the Southwest wedding industry for decades . . . but it's only been years. The relationships we have built with our collaborators is so fulfilling and genuine, that it becomes a pleasure to recommend them to Brides & Grooms and to then see them become bigger and more successful.
One of our collaborators is Ormalu Bridal and we have known them since the very first day they opened their doors eight years ago. We have seen them grow from strength to strength and even move locations to larger premises. They are just the kind of business we love to support and highlight here at Coast to Country Weddings, as they represent our own values . . . generosity, a high level of professionalism, quality products and a high level of knowledge in their field.
Read on to see why we think they're so great.
The greatest delight for a Bride (aside from actually getting married to her beau or belle) is her dress. It makes her FEEL sensational and this in turn helps her to LOOK stunning in all the photos that she will have taken on the day.
These beautiful memories and feelings are important to Carolline from Ormalu Bridal, as is the feeling that the Bride (and her party) has when she comes to the store. The store has a peaceful and relaxed environment that Carolline has created so that the Bride can calmly and confidently see and try on numerous dresses from the large selection of gowns. The collection of gowns has been stocked to suit all tastes, and the team at Ormalu pride themselves on quality products and service, and prioritise having gowns for every bride, no matter what her dress size.
They stock Collections
* Jasmine, Jasmine Couture, Lotus, Sincerity, Sugar and Spice
* True plus size gown labels Roz la Kelin with Glamour Plus, Mori Lee Julietta and Perfection Plus.
With years in the industry, Carolline recommends that Brides leave their gown selection no longer than nine months before the wedding.
"In some cases dresses can take 4-6 months when ordered, until delivery. So in that case Brides really need to allow 9 months before the wedding for a no stress process of order & delivery. This also allows adequate time for any alterations/hems etc that may need to be attended to. Inside 6 months Brides are in most cases, limited to what the stores have in stock and on the shelves to choose from.".
One really important piece of advice that Carolline would like to share is that you shouldn't "start looking for a dress until you are ready to buy one".
Carolline is very proud of her status as a wedding gown supplier that caters for 'real' sized women. She knows that Brides look and feel better when they wear a gown made for fuller figure that are specifically designed to sit well and contour correctly.
"Specializing in fuller figure styles (plus-size gowns) I can say without reservation that there is a very big difference between a true plus-size gown and a regular gown made in a plus size and this is very easy to see when you put one on. A good plus-size gown will be designed and cut with a different structure to a regular gown – made in a larger size."
"My job is not to tell a bride what she should wear, as selecting a wedding gown is a very personal choice. I would like to think that in the service and assistance I provide, I ensure that the Bride finds the right dress and that it fits her perfectly."
